“You like Alf? Do an Alf blog! You collect Smurfs? Smurf it up!” With these words Gary Vaynerchuk gave me much needed inspiration to continue doing what I was starting out my career as a digital marketing consultant. I have never met this guy or even exchanged e-mails with him but he has made a profound influence on my life (like Seth Godin). Allow me to just share a video of his talk about personal branding and cashing in on your passion. Real eye-opener.
As much as I respect this guy though I wish he would cuss less! Haha. Oh well. You rock Gary.

I am also fascinated and even LOL’d with his presentation, when i watched it on TED.
He offered some hard knocked advice specially when he cite some examples on meeting people,career planning, monetization problems and his cool advice on Domino’s pizza franchisees.
He also cited that positioning is more important than early making money.
Yup, Gary has great insights to offer. I bought and read his book which I’ll also review here at NMP.
One of the key takeaways for me is how to “hustle”. At the end of the day it really boils down to hard work.
