Yellowasp is a web marketing agency that is based here in the Philippines. They’re actually the sister company of NetBooster Asia. I e-mailed them asking if they had any openings and they graciously replied with three positions: Social Media Specialist, Account Manager, and Media Manager. Check out each role with their respective responsibilities below.
Social Media Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to establish social media marketing strategy,
- Plan and execute social media initiatives.
- Oversee clients’ presence in social media; manage voice of organization in the social media space.
- Lead organization toward emerging social media sites & applications to continue expanding reach and engagement with our supporters.
- Establish effective benchmarks for measuring impact of social media programs.
- Function as thought leader within the organization, partnering with other internal groups to leverage social opportunities
- Evaluate results and recommend changes to strategies, coordinating efforts and gathering information as needed from staff across the organization.
- Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as a member of a team.
- Maintain up to date cutting edge knowledge resources on all new and developing Social media trends
- Lead the team to spark excitement and conversation with consumers surrounding our client’s objectives
- Help build strategies and proposals for implementing effective Social media campaigns across a wide array of top tier clients
- Be a team playerThis person will use excellent presentation skills to regularly report to the executive team as well as to key clients, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in this digital domain.
Position Requirements:
- 1-2 years online marketing experience with a strong focus on Web 2.0 technologies
- Must be an enthusiastic and avid social media junky
- Ability to generate ideas and work within minimal guidance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of the English and Filipino language; webspeak is a plus
- Excellent Writer
- Creative and proactive communication skills to move new ideas and enhance company strategic goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.Account Manager
· Conceptualization of the business needs of the clients.
· Develop and maintain customer business affiliation.
· Do pitch and recommend presentations.
· Develop business relations with each of his clients and propose new services based on business requirements.
· Follow the campaigns and services done, report to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) the results, initiate and schedule regular meeting with clients.
· Present and give feedback of the results to the client’s online campaign.
· Create strategies and find original ideas to improve clients web performances.
· Keen to details and must research about the latest technical things used in the SEM international field.· According to his field of expertise he can be asked to assist another account manager for a technical meeting.
· Improve the actual processes to help the company improving its overall performance.· Strictly from advertising industry
Media Manager
Preparation:
· working with the client and the account team to understand a client’s business objectives and advertising strategy;
· liaising with the creative agency team, clients and consumers to develop media strategies and campaigns;
· make decisions on the best form of media for specific clients and campaigns;
· apply detailed knowledge of media owners in a range of geographical locations;
· think creatively about ways to represent particular clients;
· undertake research using specialist industry resources;
· research and analyze data to translate ideas into a quantifiable task;
· identify target audiences and analyzing their characteristics, behavior and media habits;
· present proposals, with media and cost schedules to clients.Implementation:
· recommending the most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time spans and locations;
· working with colleagues, other departments and media buyers either in-house or in a specialist agency;
· making and maintaining good contacts with media owners, such as newspapers, magazines and websites;
· managing client relationships to ensure respect and trust in your judgment;
· proofreading advert text and content prior to release;
· maintaining detailed records;
· developing evaluation techniques for campaignsWeb Designer
Requirements:
- Highly proficient in graphical software is required: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash)
- At least 2 years experience in Web Designing
- Experience in creating web banners is an advantage
- Creative, organized, dynamic, good communicator, team player, adaptable and flexible
- Experience in concept and internet development, navigation and graphical interface is an advantage
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Has strong initiative to deliver the job / tasks assigned ahead of schedule
- Has strong initiatives in learning new / latest technology developments, trends and updates
