Technogra.ph reported that the video submission contest of Maybelline was trolled today. The mechanics of the contest are simple — upload photos and your photos are automatically put into a video with Gerald Anderson. However since the site automatically uploads the videos for public viewing someone took advantage and put scandalous photos in it. The result? Gerard kissing a guy’s private part and he looks at a not-so-nice billboard.
Update: the reported video has been taken down.
To those who want to make video contests you need to put a filtering system in place. It can be in the form of a CMS (as suggested by a colleague in a digital marketing Facebook group) or you can just upload pre-screened videos.

i agree with the CMS. matabraho ang pre-screening as a social media consultant. pero it is necessary in order to preserve the reputation of the agency and client.
