I know that this post will give traffic to this site that I’m starting to detest but I don’t mind giving them a few hits if I can just vent out how frustrated I am with them. Sometime yesterday I got a mass mail from them saying that they recently launched a buy-and-sell website and that I should join their great community. What’s amazing is that I got e-mails to my personal and work accounts. My first question is – how the hell did they get my e-mail addresses? But no… it didn’t stop there. They literally had to spam my inbox sending the SAME mail 3-4 times.
Apparently I wasn’t the only one who was pissed. People who received the mailer started to reply which resulted in one long spam thread. Now this is where everything went haywire. Both my e-mail accounts are automatically pushed to my Blackberry. Imagine my horror when my phone wouldn’t stop getting spam for almost 2 hours, hahaha. I ended up having more than 40+ messages about this stupid site.
So to the administrators and marketing people over at Kasulit.com – you’re strategy sucks. Don’t do mass mailing to people you don’t know. Don’t just buy off e-mail addresses from suppliers because if people don’t know you and you mail them stupid stuff, they will just negatively talk about your product, especially if they are bloggers.
If the NTC passed a law saying that content providers can’t spam mobile users, they should also make one that will stop spamming for e-mails!
I had the same experience. the Victiom…my office email. I did not check my mails for the weekend, and when i opened it up today..Boom! It was flooded with this effin’ spam mail.
