Web Safety Seminar for St. Jude

Web Safety for Parents is an advocacy group led by Sonnie Santos. I joined him in this cause because I felt that it was a great way to reach out and help families who have problems with internet and gaming addiction. Web Safety for Parents did 10 workshops last year and it even won in the Philippine Blog Awards 2010 for the Best Advocacy Blog. We’re hoping that this year will be bigger! To kick things off for 2011 we’ll be having a web safety seminar for the parents of St. Jude this coming Saturday, January 8, 2011. Speakers are: Sonnie Santos, Chay Saputil, and me. See poster below.

Hmm… why does my photo have the pink caption? x.x

If you’re interested to have your organization, company, church, or school to partner with us please do send me an e-mail at info@catalyst.ph so I can discuss it with Sonnie.

  1. Nice and a noble acts..How are we going to keep our children safe on the Internet? If i am asked, i think it is when our hearts also want to know what it would be like to be a child who can talk within the world’s society of children.
