I got several e-mails over the past few days asking me about a new online making money site called Surveys4Checks. Apparently they have ads all over Inquirer.net with pictures of people happy holding big cheques and claims of making “hundreds of thousands of pesos monthly”. Did some digging and found out that they will actually ask you for a “sign-up” fee before you can start making money with their website. Since I’ve been victimized by sites like this in the past, I was very hesitant to even check the site out but I was really curious (lol). I also did some research online and I wanted to take this opportunity to share my findings with everyone. Check them all out after the break.
A Bogus Landing Page
When you click the ad, you’re led to a “news website” which talks about how an unemployed mother was able to generate P287,000 a month with a new online service. The header of the site even says: BUSINESS AND FINANCE JOB NEWS. Beneath the article are several planted comments that talk about how effective the service was for them and how much money they’ve made out of it. The URL of the landing page even gives the impression that it really is a news site. However if you take away all the sub-domains and just key in the actual domain, you’ll find out that it’s just a news-designed page made to make it look more credible so you’ll buy in to the idea.
Once you click to the link to the “survey kit” you’ll find out what the product is all about. The website is called Surveys4Checks and they basically will pay you to take surveys, focus groups, and other market research options. This looks very tempting because they even have a calculator which shows how much money you can make with just little effort. Again, note that in order to join you have to pay them an “entrance” fee to join their community. At this point I did more research via ever-reliable Google. Here’s what some of the reviews had to say about this service:

Surveys 4 checks is another trap I’ve fallen into. Like many paid survey sites, surveys 4 checks tells you how will earn money from sitting back on your couch filling out surveys. However they fail to mention the small but important details like qualifying for surveys, filling them out immediately and most importantly, the fact that many don’t offer cash prizes.
I think the most important statement there is the one about not good for international participants.
Anyway, as a disclaimer let me just say that I’ve never tried this product ever and I’m just posting this as an FYI based on what I could uncover via online research. If you feel like you want to give this a go, then by all means try it out. Maybe you can go back here an leave a comment as to how it went for you. However, please be very wary before paying them that entrance fee. Also don’t believe all the rave reviews online because they just pepper it with affiliate links (means they make money out of you if you sign-up by clicking the link from their site). Note that I’m not against affiliate marketing, I just want you to be fully aware of all the details before you shell out your hard earned money for this program.

Hey Shanti did you purchased any of their, Surveys did u used ur credit/debit card….be careful they will start charging even if u don’t use the account…. that’s what the rules says with click bank account…pl clarify.

That is hard core affiliate marketing. I’m surprised it got through Inquirer.net. “Make Money Online” schemes are mostly, if not all, scams.
You’re better off making money providing services on oDesk.
Fortunately I gathered some reviews before getting into surveys4checks. I have read reviews about it telling that this is not for real. So I will not be wasting my time signing up and pay for it…

Thats right, try http://www.globaltestmarket.com it is a free survey site which doesn’t ask for any money for starting surveys, just join it, take daily surveys and make points, the more points you have the more money you’ll make……

Damn it! i already paid and now realized its a scam. I did some google about this site but FML i didnt see this link popped out. All i saw was good comments about it. Now i cannot even contact them to get back my 50 bucks. they dont even let me send the request. Or even worse, i dont even know if they did anything to my credit card

Hi, I paid money for Surveys4Checks. It is a proxy site. It only shows the advertisement companies web sites. Yo can find those sites from google. And those sites do not want any money.
If you give money it is only for this collected advertisement companies links nothing more. So do not register to Surveys4Checks.

I would certainly like to earn money just sitting at home but I guess I am still in fantasy land and more particularly so because I desperately need a break from working so hard at the office and getting paid peanuts.
An offer like the one made by “survey4checks” is something anyone would find pleasing to know about. However, you are doing the right thing by making people aware of the cons that are evidently hidden by over-rating the pros of this offer.
I too would like to add my experience about visiting this site which was posted in my facebook account – I got interested but when I checked out the ‘survey kit’, it only wants you to pay in currencies other than Indian rupees. So I backed out coz that’s the only way I could pay. Then again, I wouldn’t jump into anything without giving a thought to it; no matter how tempted I might be to give a chance to my impulsive nature. Well, I hope one day I get to relax and work and earn lots at the same time. I am certainly in denial about reality ….. am I not !!!!!!!!!

I have noticed that Surveys 4 Income and Surveys 4 Checks is the same thing.
I could even log in to Leg it online jobs with my Surveys 4 Income and Servey 4 Checks account. How could that be so?
I also have tried to get my money back from them, but nothing.
I was actually getting excited about it while reading their landing page even though my eyebrows were really going up at how much they were earning. Even the article the supposed “article” about the stay at home mom was a bit unbelievable. Now, I don’t how much this family earned before hand but she was saying some 200K was just a nice little supplement to her family income…. Still, I decided to check the Survey Income Kit out and very nearly signed-up ’til I noticed that their “limited offer” of giving everyone 50% discount went from 11 days to 1 hour in the space of 2 mins. That kinda raised the red flag so I looked for any articles about this site and found this blog – THANK YOU. I even went back to that original article and took away all the subdomains and when I got to the main site (az-news.org) it turned out that the url was just scrambled from the Survey4Checks website. NOW, I know for sure not to try to one out.

Whoa! been a member of survey4income for about 3 weeks now and it was until now that I’ve read your comments. OMG!!!! can’t believe all I’ve read about the scam. I’ve already paid the membership and it seems that the sites are not sending any survey at all or like what you guys mentioned major surveys need the respondents to be residents only in USA and I always got screened out after responding to the first 3 questions. Aarrgh! the only site that gives consistent survey and give points equivalent to my currency is the surveyhead.com but needs a minimum amount of $20 earned for me to redeem it or to donate it to charity. I don’t even know if I could redeem it really or ask a refund like all of you who joined in.
