Vote for New Media Philippines in the Top 10 Influential Emerging Blogs Project

I was really happy to find out that New Media Philippines is still in the running for the Top 10 Influential Emerging Blogs Project that Janette Toral is hosting. We’re already at the 4th week and I think I’m at number 4 or 5 based on the rankings. Let me just take this opportunity to campaign for your nomination and vote. Here are three reasons why you should vote for New Media Philippines.

1. This blog makes YOU THINK.
I don’t just post anything here. When I do case studies or analysis, I really exert a lot of effort and time into making sure that the quality of the articles are good. When I do book reviews and share my learnings, I also make it a point to break down everything so that it’s applicable to the local business landscape. Why all the effort? Because I want my readers to think with me. In this space, we all agree to disagree. We challenge each others’ ideas and theories.

There have been times though that I got into trouble because of several articles that I wrote. Hahaha. Oh well, all part of life. Let’s charge it to experience.

2. This blog gives VALUE.
If you are a marketer or a business owner, then this blog is perfect for you. I save you the time of doing case studies, research, and to some extent, book reading. In this space, I freely share everything that I’ve learned in the past few years as a Marketing Professional and as a New Media Consultant. It is my goal that when you read the articles, you actually learn something that you can apply to your work or business.

3. This blog is RELEVANT.
Now, more than ever, people need to embrace the benefits of New Media. The internet can be a powerful asset that you can use to uplift not just businesses, but also your lives. There are so many opportunities that open up once you realize that the internet is one of the greatest equalizers known to man. If you’ve read some of my blogger features, you’ll see a few cases of people who used New Media to their advantage and it has made a profound change (for the better) in their lives.
