Vangie, the Pinoy Siri, has turned into a viral smash hit here in the Philippines. The video has already racked up more than 1,000,000 views and they’ll definitely get more as the days go by. They already uploaded a follow-up video as well which has already garnered 40,000 views. The question people are asking now is who’s behind Vangie? Is this to market some product like the failed Veet campaign? Well… it looks like the product here is the actual video. The creative thinking and production put in the the whole thing.
We got a tip on the IMMAP Facebook Group (Thanks Cynthia!) that the company behind this might be ! GUNG HO Films Manila. Here’s an excerpt from the info section of their Facebook Page:
