This post is way overdue but better late than never! Last August during the IMMAP Summit, TV5 and MMDA won a Bronze Boomerang Award for Innovation for the Traffic Navigator project. Congratulations to Interaksyon EIC Roby Alampay, MMDA Traffic Czar Yves Gonzales, and everybody who worked hard on building and promoting the website.
I was there when they announced the award and I felt truly happy because after the name of the project was flashed on the screen, majority of the theater erupted into applause. It meant that they either just appreciated it or they were users of the site.

I was actually very surprised because I didn’t know that the nomination pushed through. Talked with the agency that nominated us earlier and was told that they also thought that the nomination didn’t make it in time.
