Curt Smith, founder and vocalist of the band Tears for Fears, tweeted that he liked the BiPolar album of Filipino band Up Dharma Down. The social media savvy alternative local band has been getting praises all over the country for their music and it was really only a matter of time before more international artists recognized their talent. I think it’s awesome that the world is made into a smaller place because of social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. This is so cool for me because Tears for Fears is my all-time favorite classic band and Up Dharma Down is currently my favorite local band. Twitter crossing generations FTW!
