I’ll be giving a talk about how to use social media for PR on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at the IPRA and PRSP event “MAKE PR WORK FOR YOUR BUSINESS”. It will be held at the SMX Convention Center. The main objective of the seminar is to share insights and learnings on why PR is an essential tool in building businesses. My goal is to convince everyone there that social media plays a crucial role in building brands as well. The talk will be at 2PM.
On a lighter note, this will be the first event that I will be giving a talk with the help of the iPad. I’ll try to synch it with my Macbook Air so that it becomes a remote control of sorts. I heard that there’s an app that I can download to do that. I’ll research about it tonight. Also, this will be the first presentation on Keynote that I’m building on the iPad. It’s actually fun using Keynote on the iPad though there are some limitations. I’ll be posting about the experience tomorrow evening after my talk.
