New Facebook Profile Pages

Facebook rolled out today the new Facebook Profile Page which features more images, smaller font, and a highlighted about me section. As of this time you have to activate it to switch from the old profile to the new page. To do so you have to go to the official Facebook announcement and click the activate button. Here’s a screen shot of the new profile page on my account:

One thing I don’t like about this set-up is that the photos that you’re tagged on automatically appears at the top part of your page. This means that those annoying photo tagging network marketing people will keep on spamming (even with more gusto now) you and your network with their tags.

So what do you guys think of the new Facebook profile page? Anyway, I’ll play around with it some more and probably write a follow-up entry within the day.

  1. i like the new format of the facebook profile page..but i have the hardtime looking for your website..which is normally indicated at the left side of a normal facebook account…i have to click “info” before reaching the URL indicated website…nonetheless i see it in a new form but not in a convenient way..im looking forward for the innovation FB will make. Thanks for the info Carlo
