Yesterday was a grim day for the Philippines. A tourist bus was held hostage by a dismissed policeman. A botched up rescue and negotiation operation turned bloody which resulted to the death and injury of several of the tourists (Chinese nationals from HK). New Media Philippines is one with the world in mourning and praying for the affected families.
A few hours after the crisis ended, a flash game entitled “Bus Hostage By Policeman” was uploaded on newgrounds.com. The game has drew a lot of criticism already with several people calling it insensitive and “just plain wrong”. Here are some of the comments left on the game:
This was too soon, man. The same way that the cop wanted to gain attention was by doing something insensitive, was the same way you got attention by making light of a horrific event in our country. It’s alright, basic point and click shooter, almost like wack a mole. Gotta congratulate you for making it on the news over in the Philippines (my dentist told me :p), you managed to piss off alot of Filipinos!!! Overall it’s an ehhh game. – Slmjm884
I personally feel that this game is pushing a bit too far, especially since this was released just a few hours after the entire incident. What do you guys think?

What happen to bloody hostage in quirino granstand, is the sample of inefficient stupid swat we had, but not all are bad cops.
But the way our swat act, is an eye sour looks like a boyscout, what this? they given our country a bad name,Looks like there are no chain of command, acting confuse assault in and out.
Reminding me that some of our cops good for kotong only, And to add more fire some media whant blow by blow coverage, thinking only rating for themselves, because business first before my beloved country.
Bravo let’s give them a hard claps, bravo, bravo…Lost of Disipline and those uzizero and uzizera roaming around, there are no crowd control, what a scene…
well, for me this game also has it’s “good side”. for those who are “galit na galit” yet they can’t do anything; they can play this “F-ing” game while yelling “DIE YOU F-ing crazy policeman!!” they can release their heat by playing this game since the crazy policeman is the target. just like the ones I’ve watched before(yung binabato yung kung anu-anong babasaging bagay sa pader while shouting their anger.) after playing, they will find out that they will need to buy a new mouse. LOL
