Level Up Philippines is hiring Brand & Community Managers

I just checked the jobs board of my former company, Level Up Philippines, and I saw a lot of openings. If you have marketing background and you’re also an avid gamer, then you might want to try applying. I came from Brand Management at Level Up and I can tell you now up front that they do a lot of online marketing efforts. It’s kinda required since they’re an internet-based company. Anyway, here are the job descriptions for Brand Manager and Community Manager. If you’re interested, send your resume to jobs@levelupgames.ph.

BRAND MANAGER
The position is primarily responsible for overall management of the brand Game X, including setting of long-term brand direction, strategic planning and execution of communication plans and promos geared toward acquisition, usage and retention of users. As Brand Manager, he/she will be the champion of his/her brand and will take full responsibility of setting the direction for the brand’s position in the market.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Management, Marketing or any related business courses
• At least 1-3 yrs experience as a brand or product manager for fast-moving consumer goods, advertising, retail, telecommunications or related business
• Can craft marketing plans, familiar with reading and interpreting P&L statements
• Willing to travel and engage in field work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, results-oriented, people-oriented
• Creative and strategic thinker
• Team player; having had the opportunity of heading a team, of whatever size, is a plus
• Computer savvy, must be proficient in MS office
• Not more than 30 years old

Community Manager
The Community Manager functions as the main line connecting the gaming community with the game and brand. He/she liaises, communicates, enforces, administers and coordinates with the different avenues available with the game to ensure that all acquisition and retention efforts are on track with the goals set by the brand manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Management, Marketing or any related business courses
• Must have a passion for gaming
• With excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and Filipino
• Knowledgeable in desktop applications especially in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• With the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Organized and has a high regard for detail
• Proactive and highly analytical

    I wish that you’re also hiring in-house players or game testers for all the games of level up. In-house players can make many suggestions to make the game more interesting. Many gamers will surely like my suggestions for every game… Fresh, out of the box new ideas. ^_^
