iPhone 3G Non Responsive Touch Screen & BlackBerry Bold Missing Messages

I’ve had two major mobile phone problems in the past 3 days. First was with my trusty BlackBerry Bold 9000. I’ve been noticing that my SMS messages keep on auto-deleting. For some stupid reason the inbox would only accommodate a few days worth of texts then it would suddenly vanish into thin air. The second was with my fiancee’s iPhone 3G. Her’s was a more frustrating problem. Her touch screen won’t work. You can click home, off, and the volume but you can tap any of the keys or even slide to open it on the touch screen. Solutions for both problems after the break.

BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000 MISSING SMS MESSAGES
Based on all the online research that I did this is just a case of memory drain. Basically your BlackBerry is running to many applications to the point that it would almost crash. To prevent from crashing the phone automatically deletes messages to cope with the demand. Solution? Delete apps that you’re not using on App World. You also might want to free up more memory by deleting pictures, video clips, and other useless media on your phone. After I did this my BlackBerry hasn’t been hanging as often and my SMS messages don’t go kapoot anymore.

IPHONE 3G DEAD TOUCH SCREEN
No explanation for why it happens buy the solution is very simple. Press the off and home button together for a few seconds to reset the unit. It should work after. If it doesn’t, bring it over to an Apple Service Center.

And there you go. I just wanted to share these tips since you might face the same problems in the future. :)
