It looks like we’re finally going to be able to buy iPads here in the Philippines for the right prices starting next week. As most of you guys now, the iPad has only been available here due to creative and innovative Filipino “importers”. Official distributors aren’t actually offering the iPad yet (but it’s funny that they have tons of accessories for sale). Initial prices in May 2010 peaked at P40,000 for the 16GB WiFi model. That was then. It averaged out to around P28,000 – P32,000 in the last few months. The good news is that the prices will drop one more time! The official price list for the iPads was released by Power Mac Center and the 16GB WiFi model will now just cost P23,990. Here are the prices for the other models:

Power Mac Center will start selling the iPad this Friday, December 17, 2010. This is going to be a craaaazy techie weekend!
