Interesting Posts – Philippines Blogosphere

I subscribe to and follow a lot of local and international blogs that talk about new media, blogging, and digital marketing. It’s amazing how fast the local blogosphere has matured and grown over such a short period of time. As a tribute to them and just to give some link love, I’ll share with you guys some of the posts made by other local bloggers that I think would be good readings for everyone here.

1. Social Media Philippines: Basics on Branding: Talks about the importance of having your own brand and a few short tips on what to do to make you stand out among the clutter.

2. Sonnie Santos: What Constitutes Your Brand: Sonnie discusses what are the elements of your personal brand and zeroes in on building credibility in line with your projected image.

3. Anton Diaz: First Day of Teaching at AIM: Anton shares a picture and some snippets of his first day teaching at AIM about Internet Marketing Strategies.

4. Pinoy Blogero interviews Sir Martin Perez Teacher Blogger: I actually know Martin personally. Never knew he was an active blogger until I saw this post on Pinoy Blogero! Here we see how a teacher uses his blog as another tool to reach out to his students.

5. Mike Abundo shares Twitter goes Mainstream: Mainly because Oprah decided to make an account and Twit. Imagine all the housewives around the world, they’re probably trying to make a Twitter account as we speak, lol.

6: Baratillo on Blogger Credentials: A very interesting take on the on-going raging war with Reyna Elena and Filipino Voices.

As much as possible, the posts I will link are the ones that talk about New Media. Have a nice Sunday everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend. Monday is just around the corner. :)
