iBlog7 is one of the most anticipated annual blogging events. It’s organized by the UP College of Law and they’re helped by DigitalFilipino’s Janette Toral. This is a purely non-profit activity that’s meant to help educate both new and advanced bloggers about best practices, tips, and strategies. I’ve attended the last 3 iBlogs and not only did I get to learn new stuff I also met a lot of bloggers.

I’ll be giving a talk on the first day. The presentation I’m preparing is entitled “10 Power Blogging Advanced Tips” which aims to show bloggers how to eventually turn their blogs into businesses or open up career opportunities for them. This topic is very close to my heart since this blog paved the way for me to put up a consultancy firm as well as get good jobs. In my talk I’ll be discussing how to develop business opportunities, create strategic content partnerships, and creating various revenue streams including direct advertising in the Philippines. Actually I have so much to share and I just hope that 20 minutes will be enough for me to deliver everything properly.
Thanks again to Janette for inviting me!
To those who want to go, this event is free. Just head on over to the iBlog7 website for more details.
