There’s no official job description posted but there’s currently an ad running on the GMANEWS.TV website saying that they’re hiring people who have experience and skills in editing news or sports copy and reporting the news for web. This is definitely something they need because in terms of breaking news articles, GMA is the slowest to churn out content compared to all the other news sites. Inquirer usually beats everyone to the punch online, followed by ABS-CBN. One thing I noticed lately though is that in terms of video content, GMANEWS.TV is now uploading new content faster compared to ABS-CBN’s turn around time.
