It was shown that Filipinos have one of the highest rates of social media penetration and engagement in Asia Pacific. In a study done by comScore, it showed that 90% of the entire internet population of the country use social networking sites. Filipinos also averaged 5.5 hours of use for the month of February, visiting social networking sites at least 26 times.
