Digital Marketing Seminar in the works

I’ve been getting a lot of e-mails and messages asking for a list of internet marketing seminars and talks. This comes as no surprise since digital marketing is already going mainstream with more multinationals and SME’s embracing new media and incorporating it in their marketing plans. The problem with a lot of seminars right now is that the material is not applicable to the Philippine landscape. Cookie cutter approaches to the net will almost always end up in failure. I’m happy to let everyone know that we’re currently coming up with a digital marketing seminar that’s based on case studies done locally. This seminar will really zero in on how to apply internet marketing principles in the Philippines.
We’re still finalizing the roster of speakers as well as the modules. So far I have 2 confirmed speakers who are really at the top of their game. The target time line for the event is sometime late August, which gives us a little over a month to get everything rolling. I’ll be sharing more details and information as the days go by. Note that this seminar is really geared towards marketing professionals and business owners. Blogging will be discussed but only as a vector for internet marketing.
