David Archuleta with Vangie!
When Vangie, the Pinoy Siri, hit the web and became a viral sensation it was only a matter of time before a brand or company would approach them for collaboration. We were very fortunate to be the first. The stars aligned perfectly and we had a project that would really be a great tie-up with Vangie!
Around January TV5 was preparing for the launch of the show of our newest international star, David Archuleta. The #FollowArchuleta campaign was launched to build up buzz online. The premise of the campaign was simple: bring David closer to the fans as much as possible by posting videos, photos, and articles about his stay here in the Philippines. The show title, “Nandito Ako”, and the hash tag #FollowArchuleta trended on Twitter several times throughout January and February.
This was one of the first videos that was uploaded featuring the co-stars of David in his mini-series, Eula and Jasmine.
Here’s one of the videos we uploaded which now has around 200,000 views. This shows David singing the theme song of the show “Nandito Ako” during his recording session.
To make the effort stronger we contacted the creators of Vangie.

Nandito Ako finally airs this Monday, February 20, on TV5 after Wil Time Big Time (around 9:10PM). Hope you guys tune in and watch!
