Last September 8-9 we ran the first Certified E-Marketing Consultants (CeMC) course at the PSE in Ortigas. We had a good turnout of students despite the limited time we had to promote and push the program. The two day course tackled the fundamentals of digital marketing as well as advanced principles for e-commerce such as pricing, driving traffic, and leveraging communities. The first batch is composed of individuals from various industries: media, e-commerce, hotel, BPO, web design, etc. Here’s the list of the students who completed the first phase of the program:

These guys went through rigorous training sessions and lectures. The next step is now for them to submit a business/marketing plan for an e-commerce project. It will be graded and if they pass that’s the time they will be officially certified as E-Marketing Consultants.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow lecturers: Donald Lim, Jayvee Fernandez, and Lazlo Lim. As soon as the Program Director gets back from his trip we’ll plan a networking lunch and discuss our next steps.

Hi, Carlo. I hope you, Jayvee, and the rest of the team will offer a second run of the beginners course soon, as I am interested in signing up. I am a marketing/pr/communications officer at a nonprofit arts organization and we rely mostly on internet marketing in our promotional efforts.
I believe that attending the CeMC was time, resource and money well spent. Thanks to you and the rest of the e-Marketing group and speakers for sharing the knowledge and fueling my passion for marketing. I honestly hope to the pay it forward and making the most of what I learned. See you net night!
