People actually put their faces in this

So I saw this standee at the gas station near my house. I had a chat with the staff of 7-11 and apparently they see a lot of people (both guys and girls) putting their faces there and have their photos taken. It’s also driving sales of their Slurpee. Wow. Just… wow. As in… wow.

Filipina bloggers harassed in Bali, Indonesia

Chyng Reyes’ blog entry about her harassment in Bali is circulating fast in social networking sites. It’s actually becoming a Pinoy bloggers-call-to-arms because the victims of harassment were two Filipina bloggers (Chyng and her friend)! To summarize, they went to Bali, Indonesia, and they were stopped by immigration and checked for drugs. They were forced [...]

I know a lot of bloggers but I only have a few blogger friends. Most of them are acquaintances that I meet in events/meet-ups. We all have our own individual lives and it’s rare to have deep connections and relationships. Majority of blogger-blogger relationships are limited to hi-hello’s. I have a few blogger friends who [...]

Podium Mall Invaded by…

Hundreds of kids wearing costumes! I went to Podium this afternoon to meet up with my aunt and sister and I was really surprised to see the place crawling with kids. 4 Ways to Get Back in the Zone

The “Zone” is a metaphor for focusing majority, if not all, of your energies and attention to a productive task or endeavor. One of the hardest things to [...]

Inquirer.Net website falls behind in Breaking News updates for “Basyang”

Inquirer.Net, the most visited news website in the Philippines isn’t necessarily the fastest when it comes to breaking news. When Typhoon Basyang hit the Philippines last night (specifically Metro Manila), all major news sites were still frequently updating their streams. However Inquirer.Net eventually stopped at 12:01AM, roughly 13-14 hours already as of this writing. On [...]

Did some digging and found out that they will actually [...]
