I’ve decided to do regular Blogger Features here at New Media Philippines. This is to give faces to the people that I usually talk about in my posts. For the first interview, I was able to arrange for a quick coffee session with Filipina Mom Blogger, Noemi Dado from www.aboutmyrecovery.com. In this video interview, we talked about how Noemi got into blogging and how she’s able to give her readers value through her experiences in life, especially in the area of grief recovery. Noemi lost her 6 year old son in a tragic drowning accident a few years ago and she now uses her life stories and network to help others. Towards the end, she also shares some valuable blogging tips to fellow bloggers on content. Watch the interview after the break.
One of the reasons why I decided to feature Noemi is because I consider her to be a value-driven blogger. While she does practice SEO, majority of her posts really follow her theme and brand. Noemi is an excellent example of Personal Branding, and I’m sure her community of readers appreciate the time and effort she invests in writing quality and relevant content for her blog.
For the bloggers who’re reading this post, let me just re-emphasize some of the pointers that Noemi gave in the interview.
1. Comment on other blogs in the same niche – Make sure though that the comments you leave are relevant, and not just half-baked and obvious attempts to just get links. Build a relationship with the readers of other blogs so that they will eventually check your website as well.
2. Ask the readers on what they want to read – having problems writing content? Then ask your readers what they want. Very plain, simple, but effective. I’ll definitely try to do this here and in my other blogs.

I certainly agree with your statement for Noemi as a blogger with personal branding.She’s kinda type of a blogger that never fails to stimulate her reader in all sorts of topic discussed.I like her very much.Thanks for featuring her in your page.

Speaking of that topic, the next blogger feature will be about a blogger who really exemplifies just that and can be considered an expert with value-driven blogging. I’ll post his interview tomorrow.
