The good thing about being known as a book lover is that you frequently get books for presents during your birthday. I think I received more than 7 books already and I’m really excited to start diving into them this weekend when I get free time. One of the books I’m currently into is “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” written by Harv Eker. It’s a really interesting read and it coincides with my earlier posts on education and mindset. I’m not yet done reading it but let me just share a powerful line that I came by in one of the first few chapters.
Most people are unconscious. They are a little asleep at the wheel. They work and think on a superficial level of life – based only on what they can see. They live strictly in the visible world.
Man, that’s a really heavy paragraph right there. Let me share my insights on it after the break.

Passive Lifestyle
What he said really struck a chord with me because it’s in line with what I’ve been writing and reading about for the past few days about having a good mindset. For the longest time, I’ve been living in the present, never really thinking about the future or planning strategically to achieve my goals. All I knew was that I would get money on the 15th and 30th of the month and I’ll just have to budget. If an opportunity came my way, then I’d try to take it on. It’s a really passive lifestyle.
If you’re living life normally, then you’ll just coast along until time and age catches up with you and you’ll end up being part of the 63% of Filipinos at age 65 who just rely on charity.
Success rarely is an accident – it’s a result of a series of actions. It’s a mindset or a lifestyle. You breathe it, love it, and live it. It pours out from you like energy. Time to wake up and firmly grab the steering wheel so that you can finally go where you want to go in life.
Really good book guys. I’m not yet done but I suggest you also read it. It’s P335.00 in National Bookstore.

Sold to me already. Wealth is teh shizz.
I’m gonna buy this one.
