Apple’s New MacBook Specs

Apple recently announced a refresh of their MacBook notebooks. The banner headline is that the new MacBook will have 10 hours of battery life and that it will have killer specs just for the price tag of $999 USD (around P44,000). With regards to the specs, it’s going to have 2GB memory, Intel 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU and Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics card. That’s more than enough to run Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3! The new MacBook will also weigh around 4.7 lbs and will be 1.08 inches thin with a 13″ screen. Since I have the iPad, I’m seriously tempted already to sell my MacBook Air to just get this one. It’s a huge upgrade and it just costs almost half the price!

  1. Hi Carlo!

Better wait for new MacBook Pros (with Intel Core i3 and i5). I’m pretty sure they’ll infuse more killer specs with those units. Also, the common problem with MacBook is its plastic unibody. The side cracks after a long use. MacBook Pro’s aluminum body is sturdier. The same goes with MacBook Air.

Plus, I heard they’ll be releasing MacBook Air with Core i5. That’s a lot of battery hours! Sigh, if I’d known this sooner, I could have waited.

    Cheers,
    Wence
