Actress, host, and model Anne Curtis hit the 1,000,000 mark on Twitter today making her the most followed local artist (please correct me if I’m wrong). Twitter has become one of the most effective tools of engagement for celebrities in the Philippines. However it’s also turned out to be a PR nightmare for celebrities who weren’t properly trained and briefed on how to handle social media. Traditional press and bloggers constantly monitor Twitter accounts of celebrities for possible breaking news so it’s crucial that the artists learn to be responsible so that they can use Twitter for the betterment of their career.
Anyway, hat tip to Ms. Anne Curtis on this milestone. Congratulations!

yes its true that VICE GANDA is having a 3million likers but that is on facebook and not in twitter and the one and only DYOSA is the #1 followed personality here in the philippines .
