3rd HR Philippines National Convention: HR 2.0

I got invited by fellow blogger and personal branding expert Sonnie Santos to be a panelist in the upcoming 3rd HR Philippines National Convention: HR 2.0 which will be held at the SMX Convention Center on October 21-22, 2009. I’ll be onstage during the second day when a panel composed of bloggers and internet marketers tackle the topic HR 2.0: HR Amidst New Technology. Jayvee Fernandez and Janette Toral will also be part of the panel discussion so that makes for an interesting morning filled with insights and learnings! I always look forward to hearing both of these guys speak as well.

For the panel, I’m thinking of sharing several case studies of corporate pitfalls when it comes to handling HR in the age of web 2.0. Social media has literally turned things upside down and HR professionals should make sure they’re aware of how the landscape has changed so much because of the internet or else they’ll get left behind.
